KYFEX was founded in 2023 by Ankit Rakha, a technical leader with 18+ years of engineering experience across gaming, healthcare, government, and HR tech. He led engineering teams shipping production systems at scale before KYFEX (739B+ records processed across prior roles). KYFEX is a small, senior team — sized to the engagement. We staff dedicated leads per project (typically 1 fractional CTO + 1–3 senior AI engineers + 1 data platform specialist when needed), backed by an extended network of pre-vetted contributors for specialized depth (security review, ML evaluation, compliance, design). We deliberately avoid the "junior consultant" leverage model.
AI systems are software systems first. They need tests, monitoring, alerting, version control, rollback plans, and operating runbooks just like any other production code. We are skeptical of demo-driven development, allergic to "the LLM will figure it out" hand-waves, and biased toward systems that hold up after launch. It's a discipline we apply on every engagement. "Know Your Facts" means measuring what's actually true about your data, infrastructure, traffic, and team before recommending architecture. "Execute" means shipping code that proves the recommendation, not writing a deck that suggests it. Strategy without delivery becomes a slide deck; delivery without measurement becomes a tech-debt machine.
